Physicians CBD Council Officially Launches Certified Physicians Quality Verified Seal With First 10 Products Certified

Council’s mission is to help brands elevate quality products and aid consumers in identifying them

Los Angeles, California – The Physicians CBD Council, a consortium of physicians and specialists in the fields of family medicine, internal medicine, rheumatology, pain management, endocrinology, and nephrology, officially launches its certification program and introduces the Physicians Quality Verified Seal program. The quality seal is an important step toward self-regulation in an unregulated environment. It provides awareness and education to consumers about what they are using and allows brands to showcase that a product is what it claims to be. Additionally, consumers can verify the authenticity of the product’s seal by searching the Physicians CBD Council’s website.

Currently, the Physicians CBD Council has awarded the Physician’s Quality Verified Seal to ten products, including NexZol’s Phyto-Zol Transdermal, Overcome’s Active Relief, Potency No. 10’s The Gold Serum, Impact Natural’s Restore, and Element Apothec’s Calm Cool Collected 1500mg Tincture, just to name a few. The full list with product links is available here, as products are added on a continual basis.

“This is an important first step in advancing safety and quality in the CBD industry, and physicians are at the forefront stepping into an apparent vacuum,” stated Dr. Dung Trinh, Founder and CEO, as well as the Chief Medical Officer for Irvine Clinical Research and Cognivue. “Consumer safety is paramount when ingesting products which purport to be one thing and may perhaps be fraudulent or have unnatural ingredients, such as pesticides, or trace elements of metals transferred into the product from packaging. When a product displays our seal, consumers can identify that the product has been tested and is certified through the Council’s verification process.”

“Not only does our council benefit the consumer, but it also benefits the brands and their integrity,” remarked Helene Blanchette, Council President. “We have seen that honest brands and actors want their products certified to enhance consumer trust. And if the testing identifies something foreign in the product, the good brands will take action to remedy the issue and obtain certification. As a neutral entity, we look forward to testing additional products and aiding brands in demonstrating the quality of their products to consumers.”

“My mission has always been to provide skin care formulations made with clean, effective ingredients. To have received the Physicians CBD Council Quality Verified Certification Seal solidifies that I am doing just that, and it makes me even prouder of what I have created with the Potency No. 710 Gold Serum. Watching the transformations has been pure magic!” declared Mandy Lile, CEO and founder of Potency No. 710.

“We are proud to have received this recognition for our Phyto-Zol product and appreciate the great work that PCC is doing to elevate our efforts towards excellence!” exclaimed Joel Carden, Co-Founder at NexZol Pharma, Inc.

“At Overcome we are thrilled Physicians CBD Council has launched the Certified Physicians quality seal. It provides products and brands who are putting quality first, like Overcome, to rise above the clutter of products that are currently marketed,” said Annie Rouse, Co-founder of Overcome and Chief Operating Officer at Opinnovates. “We know our Active Relief product is highly efficacious and made following good manufacturing practices. Now consumers can easily identify that we take quality and efficacy seriously. We applaud the Physicians CBD Council for taking this important step.”

Besides the cost of testing and registration, Physicians CBD Council neither endorses nor receives a pecuniary benefit, including remuneration from product sales from the products that bear the Quality Verified Seal. “Based on this independence, the Council can remain an unbiased, neutral, and incorruptible entity,” concluded Helene Blanchette.
